The Bridgeport Trail of Tears Kick-Off Rally 12:00 noon, Friday September 17th

1 PM CDT ..... Arrival of the Motorcycles & Opening Ceremony in Downtown Bridgeport
12-6 ................ BAHA will serve Lunch & a Country Dinner at the Community Center
1-5 .................. Downtown Activities: Singing, Vendors, etc.
5 ..................... Shriner Funny Cars and Motorcycles
6 ..................... Southern Rock Band - Common Ground
6-7 .................. Cherokee Indians Dancers & a Ceremony on the River Walking Bridge
9 ..................... Drawing for $1,000
10 ................... Fireworks

    • Bridgeport Bus tour to Russell Cave ($2.00)

    • 8AM - Motorcycles will depart from downtown via Alabama Ave. & 7th to Hwy 72.
    • 6-9 - Lions Club will Host a Pancake Breakfast
    • Bridgeport Jubilee all day

Please come see the over-the-river boardwalk that is where thousands of American Indian passed under on the Trail of Tears on their forced removal to Oklahoma, also visit the Depot Museum and Russell's Cave National Monument where the oldest natives of North America has been found.
