September 14, 2018 Friday Bridgeport Trail of Tears Kick Off Party

12 Noon -Event opens - free of charge - everyone invited to attend.

3 PM Bikers arrive from Cherokee Indian Reservation

The Kickoff Party starts here!

3:30 - Official opening ceremony. Welcome by Mayor Hughes
Blessing of the Bikes by Christian Motorcycle Association
Presentation of the "Spirit of America" award - Jerry Davis

4:00 - Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard

Anna Beth McSpadden will sing the National Anthem 4:30 - Presentation of Miss Indian Alabama

5:00 - Indian Friendship Ceremony

5:30 - Hula Hoop Contest -Keily Phillips

6:00 -Robert Lee, Singer


7 PM Confederate Railroad will perform a Free Concert from The Official Trail of Tears Mural Stage in Downtown Bridgeport

8 PM firework show while Confederate Railroad is playing


Tickets available for $500 Give-a-Way drawings every hour 6-7-8 and 9PM

Food and other Vendors on Alabama Street

All day -vendors. DJ Terry Haywood will spin the tunes throughout the evening. Kids’ Corner -bounce houses,
slides, rock climber & more. Tram rides all day to the beautiful Tennessee River Walking Bridge & history tours
around the Historic Battery
Hill. Barney "Fife" Woods will be on hand to meet visitors & pose for pictures.

Barney will lead the bike parade out of town on Saturday with his 1963 Ford Galaxie Squad Car.

Saturday September 15, 2018 - 7 AM Bikers will organize downtown Alabama Ave to 7th Street to Hwy 72 for the ride to Waterloo.

Bridgeport Lions Club will host a "send off ' breakfast that morning starting at 6 AM downtown.
