The Bridgeport Trail of Tears Kick-Off Rally 12:00 noon, Friday September 16th

12:30 EDT ....... Bikers meet at Ross' Landing in Chattanooga on Riverfront Drive near the Aquarium
1 PM EDT ....... Bikers will leave Ross' Landing for unescorted ride to Bridgeport
1 PM CDT ....... Bikers will ride into the Downtown Bridgeport area
3 PM CDT ....... Opening Ceremony at the flat car stage
Presentation of the Spirit of America Flag
Newly erected cannon will be shot from the Depot Museum / Battery Hill entrance
3:15 CDT ......... Russell Cave tours (bus will leave from Gazebo - Downtown area)
4:30-5:30 .......... Live Band to perform at the flat car stage
4:30 .................. Corn Hoe Tournament in front of Bridgeport Sports
(doubles - entry fee is $1.00 - trophies will be given)
6-7 .................... Live Band to perform at the flat car stage
6:30 .................. Indian Sunset Ceremony @ the River Walking Bridge
7:30-Midnight .. Live Band to perform at the flat car stage
9:30 .................. Drawing for $10,000 giveaway
10 ..................... Fireworks

7AM - Motorcycles organize downtown via Alabama Ave. & 7th ST to Hwy 72 for the ride to Waterloo

Please come see the over-the-river boardwalk that is where thousands of American Indian passed
under on the Trail of Tears on their forced removal to Oklahoma, also visit the Depot Museum and
Russell's Cave National Monument where the oldest natives of North America has been found. |
