Largest Organized Motorcycle Ride in History
2008 Ride
Thanks to everyone that participated in the 15th Annual Trail of Tears
Commerative Motorcycle Ride. It was a great success. Some chose to participate just in the
various events around the area while other chose to ride. While some of us got a little wet,
all-in-all we had a great ride and a good time!
Congratulations to this year's Trail of Tears Space Camp® scholarship winner,
Justin Hall and accompanied by his mother Regina Hall of Meridianville, Alabama.
The scholarship is offered annually by the U.S. Space & Rocket Center® as part of
the Trail of Tears Commerative Motorcycle Ride.
Space Camp is the premiere immersive, educational experience for young people 7-18 years of age.
It has fostered national and international outreach programs which in
addition to Space Camp includes Space Academy (1984), Advanced Space Academy (1997), Aviation
Challenge (1990). The U.S. Space & Rocket Center was established in 1965 by the State of Alabama,
empowered by the U.S. Congress and supported by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration;
the U.S. Space & Rocket Center is the nation's leading hands-on space science museum.
